COMPARE TICKETING PLATFORMS
Choosing the right event ticketing platform can make a real difference to your event budget. Ticket processing fees vary between providers and can depend on ticket price, booking arrangements, payment processing, VAT and who pays the booking fee. That is why it is worth comparing the cost per ticket before choosing a provider.
Ticketfix is designed to give event organisers a clear, straightforward pricing model: 3% + 50p per ticket. Whether you run festivals, markets, conferences, exhibitions, live music or community events, understanding your ticketing costs can help you forecast revenue and keep more of each sale. Use the comparison below as an initial guide, then check the current terms and fees with each provider before making a decision.

Illustrative UK per-ticket fees calculated from providers’ published rates checked 10 October 2026. Ticketfix is shown at the proposed 3% + 50p model. Eventbrite is calculated at 6.95% + £0.59; FIXR Pro at 4.99% + £0.49 plus 20% VAT, with fees rounded up to the nearest 10p where applicable; Skiddle at 10% + £0.27, subject to a £1 minimum. FIXR’s separate transaction fees may also apply. Providers differ in whether fees are added to the buyer’s checkout or absorbed by the organiser, so these are not guaranteed like-for-like organiser costs. Ticketmaster told a UK parliamentary committee that its average per-ticket booking fee paid by fans in 2024 was 10.5%, and its highest contractual per-ticket fee was 15% with a £2 minimum. That is a fan-paid booking-fee benchmark, not a standard organiser rate, so it is not included in this like-for-like table. Actual fees and total costs depend on event contracts, VAT, transaction/payment charges and who pays the fee.
